We are the Keys. Our story starts in Fayetteville, AR. Brian and I met in 2004 while doing an internship with the college ministry of University Baptist Church. We got married in August 2006 and moved to Kansas City to start seminary. Almost two years later, in May 2008, I graduated with a Masters in Counseling and we decided to start a family. We found out we were pregnant in July 2008 and anxiously awaited the birth of our first child. Olivia Grace was born in April 2009 and almost immediately we realized that there were significant issues with her health.
In the meantime, Brian graduated with a Master of Divinity in May 2010 and began an internship at Redeemer Fellowship, the church that we have attended in Kansas City since it was planted in 2008. In June of 2011, Brian took a full-time role overseeing the small group ministry. Shortly before Brian got the job, we got pregnant with our newest addition, Gabrielle Suzanne, who was born in December 2011 and much like her sister has stolen our hearts.
Life has not been easy for our family but it has been beautiful. The Lord has been leading us every step of the way. We feel incredibly blessed to call Kansas City home and to be surrounded by some amazing friends. Thanks for joining us on our journey.
